Every bottle on these shelves has been pulled, poured, and properly tasted by us before it earned a place. We’re not a faceless catalogue: there’s one buyer, twelve favourite producers, and a tasting room above the shop where most of these wines first crossed our radar.
If a wine doesn’t move us, it doesn’t get listed. If a vintage shifts and the joy goes out of it, we drop it. That’s why the list is short, opinionated, and changes through the year.

Antonio Rossi farms a single hectare on Etna's northern face: volcanic ash, 700m up, vines older than his grandfather. We drove up last spring; he poured five barrel samples on a folding table, in the rain, and told us not to spit.
